• (APRIL 24TH) 8561 east turns onto the Siskiyou line at Black Butte in the early 90's

MAY

• (MAY 1ST) 9822 east at the west switch of Mott eight miles above Dunsmuir.
• (MAY 8TH) 9339 west on Dry Canyon Trestle along the base of Mt Shasta.
• (MAY 15TH) Train 58 meeting train 59 at South San Francisco
• (MAY 29TH) 8063 west at Upton with Black Butte in the background. CONRAIL 6845 and SP 7869 are the other units in this consist.

JUNE

• (JUNE 5TH) The "American Orient Express" rolls along the Sacramento River on June 2nd at Gibson 18 miles downriver from Dunsmuir.
• (JUNE 12TH) 7330 west accelerates out of Kegg Siding after a meet with an eastbound.
• (JUNE 19TH) A westbound Z-Train with a pair of new GEVO locomotives 5365 and 5424 are framed in SP searchlight signals. The location is the south switch at Grass Lake about 45 rail miles north of Dunsmuir.
• (JUNE 26TH) The westbound "Klamath" rolls along the Sacramento River at Small Siding in 1960. Small Siding was located a few miles upriver from Dunsmuir and was removed a few years back.

JULY

• (JULY 3RD) The Milwaukee Roads Hiawatha Skytop observation car brings up the rear of the Trains Unlimited Tour special on July 2nd. The train is passing Castle Crags a few miles south of Dunsmuir, California.
• (JULY 10TH) SP's first SD45 8800 shoves on the rear of an empty steel train at Yuba Gap in 1979.
• (JULY 17TH) X-6184 west with a pig train at Azalea in the early 60's. This location is about ten rail miles north of Dunsmuir.
• (JULY 24TH) A quiet night in Dunsmuir finds 8245 on the turntable.
• (JULY 31ST) 9816 east at Upton a few miles from Mt Shasta City

AUGUST

• (AUGUST 7TH) A Sunday afternoon a few decades ago finds SP commute power doing weekend chores heading a westbound at Truckee.
• (AUGUST 14TH) The Coast Starlight led by a couple of Pepsi cans pass beneath Mt Eddy twenty miles north of Dunsmuir.
• (AUGUST 21ST) SP 9754 west passing Mt Shasta between Hotlum and Black Butte.
• (AUGUST 28TH) An eastbound WP train winds around Williams Loop in 1980.

SEPTEMBER

• (SEPTEMBER 4TH) Krauss-Maffei 9011 leads an eastbound down the San Jouquin Valley near Turlock in 1964.
• (SEPTEMBER 11TH) UP's Challenger passing Mt Shasta at Cougar September 6th.
• (SEPTEMBER 25TH) SP9792 west four miles upriver from Dunsmuir.

OCTOBER

• (OCTOBER 2ND) Train 21 the westbound mail train at Reno in 1961.
• (OCTOBER 9TH) 8559 east storms out of Dunsmuir on a Fall day in the early 90's.
• (OCTOBER 16TH) 9811 west is in the siding at Azalea as 321 east comes up the main.
• (OCTOBER 23RD) Yreka Western #244 an Alco MRS-1 about a mile out of the Yreka Depot on October 23 2005
• (OCTOBER 30TH) 8580 east climbing out of the Sacramento River Canyon near MP330 eight miles from Dunsmuir.

NOVEMBER

• (NOVEMBER 6TH) 7445 west crossing Whitney Creek along the base of Mt Shasta
• (NOVEMBER 13TH) SP 9800 west passing Castle Crags at the south end of Dunsmuir Yard
• (NOVEMBER 20TH) X5652 West rolling through Pomona, California in July 1959.
• (NOVEMBER 27TH) Train 27 the westbound "San Francisco Overland" at Rodeo California in 1960.

DECEMBER

• (DECEMBER 4TH) 6866 east holds the main on the left while 7443 west rolls down the siding at Grass Lake
• (DECEMBER 11TH) 7484 west at Chiloquin, Oregon.
• (DECEMBER 18TH) 7380 west entering Dunsmuir Yard
