I would like to recommend "The Storms of Denali" by Nicholas O'Connell. It is a real cliff hanger. I started reading the last few chapters before going to sleep and couldn't put it down until I finished the book. Submitted by Sherrill M.

Carthage Must Be Destroyed By Richard Miles
The Phoenicians, and by extension, the Carthaginians, have typically been portrayed in history as “bad guys”. This is mostly due to the fact that much of our information about them has come down through the ancient Greeks. And the ancient Greeks were rivals, so of course they put out a lot of bad press on their competitors! However, recently more information about this people has come to light, and so we know another side of the coin.
Carthage was at first simply a colony of Tyre, a city of the seacoast of Lebanon in the Middle East. Eventually, Carthage became larger and more powerful. That is what Miles shows us in this book. First the Greeks, then the Romans contended with Carthage, and in so doing, tried to erase it from the map. But archaeological evidence now reveals this lost empire, at one time the most powerful nation to rule the Mediterranean Sea.
If you enjoy ancient history, you will find this book to be eminently readable. Submitted by Becky S.
In the Name of Honor by Richard North Patterson
This a dandy read, especially for people who like military mysteries and judicial stuff. He is an excellent writer and this is a hard read to put down. Submitted by Sandra B.
