Computers
Cycling computers provide information that is useful for training and encouragement. They have an automatic on/off feature that activates when the wheel turns. If you stop for a break, it holds the information, then resumes calculating when you begin riding again. This keeps your ride time and average speed data accurate. For more technical information, there are choices that include wireless mounting, cadence, temperature, altitude, heart rate and data download. An added advantage to knowing your mileage is to anticipate routine maintenance for your bike.
