My 2010 Dinner has come and gone, what a fun time we all had. Boy it was so great to see everyone again this year!

Every year new faces appear and it is so much fun to see them as they go from one person to another visiting, because I know that they have not been able to see or visit with some of the people for so many years. This year was very special for me because my Aunt Eleanor Sheppard Lendahl class of 1961, was able to come and one of my best friends, Lori Hodge class of 1976, that I had not seen for years, came. Every year is so much fun, but what a fun group of people we had this year and what a wonderful time we all had.

I just received our dinner pictures from the photographer and I think that you will really enjoy viewing them. It is always fun to see who came, especially for those of you that could not make the dinner, and for those of you that did come, to see and remember the joy of the night.

At the dinner if you did not purchase pictures or the CD

you still can purchase them by sending in the order form to Marian Morgan Hunt the photographer or just give her a call.

For your enjoyment I have added all the pictures that the photographer took and the ones that were sent to me, (thank you for the pictures Kelly and Andie). I hope you will enjoy them as much as I have been.

As you glace through the photos you will notice that some of the pictures are not from the night of the dinner. They are from the Friday night Ice Breaker, the golf tournament and from our breakfast gathering on Sunday morning.

Those of you that came last year, but because of your schedules you were not able to come this year will really enjoy the pictures. I also want you to know that you were really missed. Between you, not being able to come, Howard`s family and my family that don`t come, Howard and I spent so much time explaining where all of you were or why you couldn`t come. Well, as I said, you were really missed and I hope that you will enjoy seeing

Before the dinner I got only the pictures that I needed for the dinner, since the dinner I have been working hard to finish getting the rest of the senior photos in each yearbook in case I need them

in the future.

It takes about 3 hours per yearbook from start to finish, taking a picture of the picture and then transferring them to my computer, so its slow-going. As soon as I finish with your books I will contact you and get them back to you. I started with the books in the 40`s and I am working my way to the 90`s, so if for some reason you need them back before then, please drop me a line and I will move your books to the top of my list and get yours back to you.

It was so wonderful to see all of you again this year and as I look at the pictures and see your smiling faces and laughter, it brings back the memories of just how much fun we had, thank you all for coming.

Many of you have e-mailed or called and ask if I am having a Dinner in 2011.

I have reserved two dates for a dinner next year, but the City of Redding has applied their new price hikes and I need to see if I can put the dinner on and still break even and it still be within peoples budgets in this economy.

I also need to see what Howard and I will have going on next summer. Having the dinners takes a lot of time and I have been doing them for so many years that it makes it hard to fit everything else in, summers seam to be getting

shorter and shorter now days. So maybe going to a every-other year schedule might be something that I will be looking into.

The dates that are available for next year are; July 9th and August 6th. I also wanted to see if any other dates will become available between now and the first of the year.

In addition, I need to figure out how many people I will need to attend to break even, so if there are any of you that know for sure that you will be coming, please drop me a line letting me know and then I can see if I have another

dinner if there will be enough people that are interest to break even. That is my biggest problem, not knowing if I am going to break even or not. Once it gets to 90 days before the dinner I am committed to the dollars even if I don`t have enough people and then Howard and I pay the difference, so if you really are interested please let me know.

So to answer your question, will there be another dinner in 2011? As of now I am not sure, but I will let you know as soon as I get things worked out or know for sure that I am skipping next year.
