SnowCrest Web Space

SnowCrest offers 100 megabytes of web space (roughly 80 floppy disks, or one Zip disk) for an additional $5 per month. All SnowCrest broadband services include an amount of web space. Give us a call at (530) 926-6888 or (530) 245-4698 to set up your web space.

Here are a few tips to remember when uploading to your web space:

• Any web pages you upload must be placed in the "www" directory.
• The file "index.html" provided by SnowCrest must be deleted or replaced for your files to be accessible.
• To view your web pages, point your web browser (Internet Explorer or Netscape) to "http://users.snowcrest.net/username/", where username is your SnowCrest username.

FTP Setup

Every FTP program is different, but there are three pieces of information they all need:

1. Host: This must be www.snowcrest.net.
2. User Name: This is your SnowCrest web space space username. This box is case-sensitive.
3. Password: The password for your webs pace. This box is case-sensitive.
