Outlook Express 4.5

Edit Menu

To set up an Email account in Outlook Express 4.5 for the Mac, click on the "Edit" menu and select "Preferences".

Be sure you are on the "E-mail" section of the preferences window, and click "New Account"

New Account Type

POP or IMAP

Select "POP" as the account type, and click "OK"

Account Settings

  1. Type your name in the "Full Name" box.
  2. Type your Email address in the "Email Address" box.
  3. Type "mail.snowcrest.net" in the "SMTP Server" box.
  4. Type in your SnowCrest Email username in the "Account ID" box. If your SnowCrest Email is "myname@snowcrest.net", you would only enter "myname" here. This box is case sensitive.
  5. Type "mail.snowcrest.net" in the "POP Server" box.
  6. In the "Account Name" box, type a description to differentiate this account from others.

Click "OK" and you're done.
